First I cut out the little houses from Paper Village. Then I embossed some white cardstock with the 3D embossing folder Lumber. To color it I used Distress Ink in the colors Frayed Burlap, Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain.
I then cut some branches using the Sizzix die Branches. I glued the branches the the front and sides of the houses.
For the roof I took some white cardstock and colored it wit Distress Ink. I used Peeled Paint, Forest Moss and Mowed Lawn. I cut out leaves with the Sizzix die Garden Greens and glued them to the roof.
I went over the glued down branches with some Walnut stain to give it some contrast. I did the same for the leaves with Forest Moss.
I made a background using Distress Inks. Antique linen for the moon, Faded Jeans, Stormy sky, Chipped Sapphire and Black soot for the sky and Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Black Soot for the ground.
I took a Idea-ology Vignette Divided Drawer. Drilled a little hole in the back and put some lights through. I covered up the lights with my background to make it look like there were stars in the sky. I also put some lights in the houses.
I then made some more leaves with the left over cardstock that I colored green, and made some other leaves in fall colors using Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire, Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint. For these leaves I used the Sizzix die Funky Foilage.
Then I put the whole thing together. I used different types of moss to cover the ground and make it look more woodsy.
For the outside of the Vignette I used pieces of the cardstock embossed with the 3D embossing folder.
