Hocus Pocus

The foundation for this piece is the smaller vignette tray from the 2 piece set vignette trays from Tim Holtz.

I made it look like a book for no particular reason, I just thought it was fun.
If you want to learn how to turn a vignette tray or box in a book click here.
The idea is from Tami Bastiaans and the link will take you to her blog.

The cabinets are made with the vignette boxes. This is a four piece set and I used the largest one and the two smallest ones.

The outside of the boxes is covered with brick. Click here for a tutorial by Zoe Hillman to makes these great looking brick walls.

The inside is covered with kraft stock black from Tim Holtz. I crumpled the paper up into a ball and smoothed it out again. I than sanded the paper so the wrinkles would show.

For everything in the cabinets I used a lot of Idea-ology stuff from Tim Holtz.

And don't forget to light things up!
